Hello, guys! How’s everything? You still have a good spirit, right? Okay, now I would like to tell you about one website which is very useful for us to learn English. That is Woodward English!
Woodward English is a kind of website to help you learn English for free with its Grammar Notes, vocabulary lists, interactive games, reading material and worksheets for teachers and students.
Now let me show you each feature of this website 🙂
1. Learn English
All the materials which are expected to enrich your English skills are here.
2. Common Mistakes
This provides you the corrections about some common mistakes in English that usually happen in our daily learning and also common mistakes that students make when using English. For example, the difference between DO and MAKE, FUN and FUNNY, TRAVEL and TRIP, MILLION and MILLIONS, and many others.
3. Jokes and Fun
As you can see from its name, this menu provides you some funny articles that will make you laugh while you learn English.
And here you will get some idiomatic expressions in English. Not only idioms, but also slang words that commonly used by the natives.
You will be offered some articles and stories to “recharge” your mind about English. Do you know what is the longest word in the English Language? If you don’t, you’ll find the answer here.
This is one of the special feature of this website. This provides you the famous (and not so famous) quotes in English to inspire you and learn from. Besides that, you can also learn about the confusing or difficult words from the quotes. So it will be useful to improve your English vocabulary.
This will give you some materials to help you prepare for the IELTS (International English Language Testing System) exam.
Well, this is pretty different from some previous menus. The picture above is what you will see when you get first into this section. It will lead you into the other website (click here to go directly to the website), but still in line with Woodward English. It’s called “English Grammar”, which is divided in two main sections: Grammar Games and Grammar Notes.
This is similar to the last one. It also leads you into the other website which is still in line with Woodward English (click here to go directly to the website). It’s called “English Vocabulary”, which is also divided in two main sections: English Vocabulary Topics (and Lists) and English Vocabulary Games.
So, what do you think? Is it really fun, isn’t it? 😀
